KISS students in Odisha teams for National School Games

Bhubaneswar, Nov 11:

Jaspina Dalabehera and Ranjita Tadingi of class-8 and 9 of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) have been selected in the Odisha State Schools Archery U-14 girls’ team for the National School Games in Archery Championship 2014-15 to be held at Ranchi from November 15 to 17.

The state archery team, which today joined a three-day coaching camp at Unit-8 Government High School in Bhubaneswar, will leave for Ranchi on November 13.

Besides, Amesh Raito and Basudev Sikaka, two +2 students of KISS, have been selected in the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha Handball team for the 59^th National Schools Games in Handball (Boys) U-19 Championship to be held at Punjab from November 13 to 18.

Santosh Kumar Behera, of KISS has been appointed as coach of the team.

Apart from this, Susanta Kumar Majhi of a class-9 student of KISS has been selected in the Odisha State School Cricket U-17 (Boys) team for the 60^th National School Games in Cricket to be held at Gwalior from November 12 to 16.
