Lady Food Inspector  caught taking bribe in Odisha

Vigilance officials today caught a lady District Food Inspector red-handed while she was accepting bribe from a hotel owner near Dhenkanal town in Odisha.

According to reports, there had been allegations against the lady Food Inspector Rashmi Choudhury of regularly taking bribes from the hotel and restaurant owners in the district.

Acting on the complaints, the anti-corruption wing laid a trap and caught Choudhury red-handed while she was accepting a bribe of Rs 2, 500 from Saroj Patnaik, owner of Sneha Hotel at Kanteikolia near Govindpur on the outskirts of Dhenkanal town.

She was later arrested and taken to the district Vigilance office for interrogation.
