Lady teacher burning case : Main accused Dandsena arrested

Suspended sub-inspector of schools, Netranand Dandsena, the main accused in the Tikiri school teacher burning case has been arrested from Seshakhal on the Odisha Andhra Pradesh border this evening, Rayagada SDPO Y. Jagannath Rao said.

Dandsena was on the run after a lady teacher Itishree Pradhan ( 36) in the local school was set on fire by an unidentified person while she was resting inher rom in school hostel on Sunday night.

Dandsena is believed to have been behind the barbaric incident because Itishree had filed complaints with the local police station as well as the School & Mass Education department authorities against him for trying to outrage her modesty.

Itishree who sustained 85 to 90 per cent burn injuries is battling for life in a Visakhapatnam hostel.
