Life limping back to normalcy in Odisha’s Bhadrak; curfew relaxed for 12 hrs

With situation getting better gradually at violence-hit Bhadrak town in Odisha, the district administration today relaxed curfew for 12 hours from 6 am to 6 pm.

As many as 34 platoons of Odisha police, two companies of CRPF and two companies of RAF are deployed in the town, reports said.

On the other hand, the district administration is likely to submit a report regarding damages during the violence to the state government today.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during his visit to the town had sought a report in this regard in order to provide compensation to the affected people.

Notably, the communally-sensitive Bhadrak town was on boil after some inflammatory posts were posted on social networking site leading to tension between two communities.
