Light rainfall likely in Odisha on February 18: IMD

Bhubaneswar: Three districts of Odisha are likely to receive light rainfall/ thundershower on February 18 under the influence of western disturbance, the Regional Meteorological Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted.

“Light rain/ thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha on February 18,” it said, adding that dry weather very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha till February 17.

The Meteorological Centre also predicted no large change in minimum temperature (Night Temperature) during the next 2 days and gradual rise in temperature by 3-5°C thereafter over the districts of Odisha.
