Lightning claims 7 more lives

Bhubaneswar, Sep 29:

At least seven persons were killed and five others seriously injured after being struck by lightning in different places in Odisha, official sources said here today.

Three persons were killed in Nuapada district, two in Ganjam and one each in Bolangir and Kalahandi districts last evening.

The victims were separately working in their farm when lightning struck them as the districts experienced heavy rains. Over a dozen cattle also perished in lightning.(PTI)
