Lightning strike kills three women in Odisha

Koraput/Baripada: Lightning strike claimed lives of at least three women in Koraput and Mayurbhanj districts of Odisha today.

In Narayanpatna area of Koraput, two sister-in-laws, identified as Mari Radha (32) and Mari Sune (25), died due to the lightning strike when they were working at a farmland.

Three others, including a child, were injured in the incident and have been admitted to the Narayanpatna hospital in a critical condition.

Similarly, one Parbati Gagrai of Salaibedi village in Thakurmunda area of Mayurbhanj district was killed in lightning strike while she was collecting wood fuel.
