Lightning, thunderstorm likely in 17 districts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The local meteorological centre today predicted thunderstorm with lightning in 17 districts of Odisha.

“Latest doppler weather radar and satellite imageries indicate that thunderstorm with lightning and rainfall likely to occur over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Khurda, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Keonjhar between 2.30 PM and 5.30 PM today,” a bulletin of the meteorological centre said.
