Lightning, thunderstorm to hit 10 districts in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre today issued thunderstorm alert for ten districts in the State today.

As per a latest bulletin issued by the Met Department, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty wind and light rain are likely to occur at one or two places and light to moderate rain is likely to occur in Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Jajpur and some parts in Cuttack between 10 pm and 11 pm today.

Meanwhile, the heat wave conditions prevailed in most parts of the State today giving tough time to the people.
