LN Gupta gets Tourism in Odisha IAS cadre reshuffle

The Odisha government today effected a minor reshuffle in the senior IAS cadre.

According to a Home department notification, 1986 batch IAS officer and principal secretary, Employment Technical Education and Training (ET&T) Laxmi Narayan Gupta has been given additional charge of Tourism department.

Principal secretary, Industries, Sanjeev Chopra has been given additional charge as chairman and managing director (CMD) of IDCO while commissioner-cum-secretary, Women and Child Development Vishal Dev has been given additional charge of Idcol.

Besides, commissioner-cum-secretary, Disability Welfare Saswat Mishra will additionally handle Sports and Youth Affairs while additional secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Shalini Pandit will handle additional charge of Labour Commissioner and director of Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), the notification added.
