Locals protest alleged rape, murder of six-year-old girl in Odisha

Balasore, Apr 25:
Angry protesters burnt tyres and blocked road after the body of a six-year-old girl was found on the banks of Sone river in Narlapatna area in Balasore district of Odisha today.

Locals alleged that the girl was murdered after being raped.
They blocked the road and were demanding immediate arrest of the accused.
The little girl, whose father is no more, was missing since last night.
According to police sources the body of the child bears multiple injury marks.
The body has been sent for post mortem.
The road block was later cleared after Remuna police assured protesters swift action against the culprits.
