Lockdown 3.0 | Odisha police introduces art contest to engage school kids

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to help children beat the lockdown blues and inculcate in them the importance of social distancing, the Twin City Commissionerate Police (CP) has come up with ‘art from home’ contest for school kids in the state.

Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi on Friday made the announcement for the online art competition for school students upto Class 10. The theme of the art is ‘Social Distancing Saves Life’ and the last date for submission is May 20.

Welcoming art works of the young minds, he called upon them to submit their entries online hashtagging ‘ArtFromHomeContest’ and ‘AwarenessWithCP@SarangiSudhansu’ and tagging  @cpbbsrctc on Twitter,
Commissionerate Police Bhubaneswarcuttack on Facebook and @cpbbsrctc on Instagram.

Best three art works will be selected from the entries and kids securing the first, second and third positions will be awarded with cash prizes of Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000, respectively, the CP added.
