Logjam over farmer suicide issue continued in Odisha Assembly today as BJP members created ruckus forcing Speaker Niranjan Pujari to adjourn the House for an hour.

The BJP legislators rushed to the Well of the House during Question Hour and created din over the issue.

They resorted to sloganeering near Speaker’s podium following which Pujari, being unable to run the House amid noise, adjourned it for one hour.

Scenes remained unchanged when the House reassembled as BJP members again created ruckus over the matter during Zero Hour following which Speaker Pujari adjourned the House till 3 PM and again till 4 PM.

The House had witnessed repeated adjournments yesterday as Opposition BJP and Congress members had created pandemonium over the issue.
