Lopamudra case: Odisha industrialist Trailokya Mishra’s son arrested

The Mahila police arrested industrialist Trailokya Mishra’s son Sabyasachi, against whom her wife Lopamudra had levelled allegations of physical and mental torture, informed Twin City Police Commissioner YB Khurania today.

Sabyasachi was arrested from his residence at Kharvel Nagar in Bhubaneswar after period of the interim protection provided to him by the Orissa High Court got over.

Notably, Lopamudra had lodged a complaint at the Mahila Police Station on May 10 last year vide case no. 117/2016 alleging to have been subjected to physical and mental torture for dowry by her husband and in-laws.

Lopamudra had even alleged that her husband had proposed to her for wife-swapping when they were on a visit to Port Blair.

Worth mentioning, the estranged couple had got married in 2006.
