Low pressure forms over Bay of Bengal; Heavy rainfall in few Odisha districts likely

Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area has formed over west-central and adjoining north-west Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coasts, under the influence of which few districts of Odisha are likely to experience heavy rainfall.

The low pressure is not likely to intensify into a depression, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted.

Below is weather forecast for Odisha in connection with the low pressure.

Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur.

Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur.

Day 4 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 14.07.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 15.07.2021)

Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Koraput.
