Low pressure-induced rain likely to drench these Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area is likely to form over northwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal off Odisha coast during the next 48 hours, which would trigger rainfall across Odisha, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted today.

Here’s day-wise weather forecast for Odisha in view of the low pressure:

September 30: Orange Warning- Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Ganjam, Puri, Kandhamal, and Gajapati.

Yellow Warning- Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Khordha, Boudh, Nayagarh, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Sambalpur, Kalahandi, and Bhadrak.

October 1: Orange Warning- Heavy to very Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Puri, Kendrapara and Dhenkanal.

Yellow Warning- Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Ganjam, Angul, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Boudh and Khordha.

October 2: Yellow Warning- Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, and Angul.

October 3: Yellow Warning- Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Boudh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sambalpur, Cuttack, Jajpur and Bhadrak.

October 4: Yellow Warning- Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Bolangir, Kalahandi and heavy rainfall very likely to occur over the districts of Ganjam, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul and Bargarh.
