Low pressure likely to trigger rainfall in Odisha till Sept 28

The well marked low pressure area over coastal Andhra Pradesh and neighbourhood is likely to trigger rainfall in Odisha till September 28, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted.

Under the influence of the low pressure, heavy rainfall is likely to occur in the districts of coastal and interior Odisha till September 28, the local meteorological centre forecasted.

Strong gusty surface wind from southeasterly direction with speed reaching 35-45 KMPH gusting to 55 KMPH would prevail along and off Odisha Coast. Sea condition would be moderate to rough.

Fishermen have been advised to be cautious while venturing into sea.
