Low pressure likely to trigger rainfall in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Nov 1:
A low pressure area formed above south-east Bay of Bengal is likely to trigger rainfall in Odisha from November 2 to 5, the local Meteorological Centre predicted.

Under the influence of the low pressure, rainfall is likely to occur in coastal and north Odisha and heavy rainfall likely in some places of coastal Odisha, the Met Centre forecasted.
There would be decrease in showers from November 6 onwards, it added.
Fishermen have been advised not to venture into sea.
Meanwhile, the Disaster Management Department has advised farmers to shift harvested paddy to safer places.
