Low pressure: Rainfall likely to drench Odisha till Oct 30

Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area is likely to form over westcentral and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal around October 29. Under its influence, enhance rainfall activity is likely over coastal Odisha from the night of October 28 to October 30, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted.

The Regional Meteorological Centre has also warned of possible heavy rainfall at isolated places over Puri, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapara districts today. It also predicted occurring of rain/thuindershowers at many places over north coastal Odisha and at a few places over south coastal Odisha and at isolated places over interior Odisha today.

Similarly, on October 29, heavy rainfall at isolated places is likely to take place in the districts of Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore.

The Meteorological Centre has also forecasted of heavy rainfall at isolated places over Bhadrak and Balasore districts on October 30.
