Low pressure to trigger rainfall in Odisha till Aug 10: Met Dept

The low pressure formed over northwest Bay of Bengal would trigger rainfall across Odisha till August 10, the Meteorological Department predicted.

Rainfall/thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over the districts of interior and coastal Odisha in the next 24 hours, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre forecasted.

A rainfall of 240 mm was recorded in Sambalpur in the last two days, sources said. Similarly, 96.4 mm rainfall was recorded in Sonepur, 43.6 mm in Titlagarh and 47.4 mm in Balangir.
