A low pressure area formed over west-central Bay of Bengal is likely to trigger heavy rainfall in interior Odisha in the next 24 hours, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted.
Rainfall/thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over the districts of south Odisha and at a few places over the districts of north Odisha, the local meteorological centre forecasted, adding that heavy rainfall likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of interior Odisha in the next 24 hours.
The rainfall would continue for four days, it predicted.
