Lured with chocolate, 4-year-old girl raped in Odisha’s Bhadrak

Basudebpur: In a shocking incident, a four-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Naikanidihi police station area of Bhadrak district today. As per reports, a youth of Naikanidihi area, Jagannath Das lured the minor girl with a chocolate while she was returning home from a tuition this morning.

The youth then took the girl to an isolated place and raped her.

As the minor girl did not reach home despite a considerable delay, her family members made a frantic search. Later they found the minor girl in a critical condition.

As per latest reports, family members of the girl admitted her to Basudebpur hospital.

Based on a complaint filed by the girl’s family, police detained Jagannath and have been questioning him about the matter.
