Bhubaneswar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today relished Odisha’s authentic delicacies at Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s residence during his visit to the state.
Accompanied by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Union Petroleum & Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Shah visited Naveen Niwas in the afternoon and had mouth-watering Odia dishes following Eastern Zonal Council (EZC) meeting in Bhubaneswar.
In the menu, they were served the food items including Baigana Bhaja, Aloo Mutter Masala (Odia style), Gucchi Paneer, Dal, Tomato Chatni, Papad, Boondi Raita, Machha Besara (fish curry in mustard paste), Roti and Rice. The leaders had Chennapoda and Rasmalai in dessert.
Taking to microblogging site Twitter, CM Patnaik expressed his pleasure for having lunch with four great leaders of the country at his residence.
