Major reshuffle in Odisha IAS cadre; 9 collectors changed

The Odisha government today effected a major reshuffle in the IAS cadre.

According to a General Administration notification, Jajpur collector Anil Samal has been appointed as director, Information and Public Relations (I&PR) and Bishu Sahu has been posted as vice chairman, Cuttack Development Authority (CDA) while PK Das would take charge as additional secretary, School and Mass Education.

Apart from this, the government has transferred and posted collectors in nine districts.

They are Satya Mallick as collector, Jajpur, Yamini Sarangi-Kandhamal, B Brunda-Kalahandi, V Jaykumar-Koraput, Mohd Siddique Alam-Nuapada, N Tirumala Nayak-Keonjhar, Rashmita Panda –Nabarangpur, Bijay Ketan Upadhyay-Jagatsinghpur and Debaraj Senapati-Kendrapara, the notification added.
