Major reshuffle in IPS cadre in Odisha

The Odisha government today effected a major reshuffle in the IPS cadre by shifting 32 officers.

According to a Home department notification, while Amrita Dash is posted as DCP (Headquarters), Sanjay Kumar is the new DIG (Law & Order), NB Bharathi as DIG (Modernization) and Sambalpur SP Prateek Mohantyhas been promoted  as DIG (Nothern Range).

Satyabrat Bhoi has been posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Bhubaneswar in place of Nitinjit Singh who has been appointed as SP, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.

Rourkela SP Amitendra Nath Sinha has been appointed as SP, Vigilance, Cuttack .Mayurbhanj SP Nikhil Kumar Kanodia is posted as SP Dhenkanal while SP vigilance, Bhubaneswar Sanjay Kumar Kaushal is new SP Railways, Cuttack. Jajpur SP Deepak Kumar has been posted as SP Balangir.
