Male zebra dies in Odisha’s Nandankanan zoo; one left

Bhubaneswar, May 30:

A two-and-a-half-year-old male zebra died at the Nandankanan Zoological Park on the outskirts of Odisha capital today.

With the death of the animal, the number of zebra in the zoo has reduced to one.

Notably, three female and two male zebras were brought to Nandankanan from Tel Aviv, Israel in September, 2015.

While three female zebras had died earlier, the death of the male zebra has left the zoo with mere one zebra.
