Man arrested in Odisha capital on murder charge

An auto rickshaw driver with criminal records was killed in Salia Sahi late on Monday night.

Kalia Pathan, an auto driver, was attacked and critically wounded by Param Rout due to a long-standing rivalry between them, police sources said. They added both Kalia and Param have criminal antecedents.

“Param was attacked by Kalia’s associates on Sunday night,” police sources said.

After the incident, Kalia was rushed to Sum Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
