Man axes wife to death in Sundargarh

Rourkela: In a shocking incident, a woman was axed to death by her husband over family feud at Podahili village under Koida police limits in Sundargarh district last night.

The deceased has been identified as Sambari Nayak.

According to reports, an altercation erupted between the couple over family issue  last night. In a fit of rage, Somiari’s husband Buddhu Munda attacked her with an axe killing her on the spot. After committing the crime, he fled the spot.

The body was not recovered as police had not reached the spot till the last report was filed.
