Man crushes wife to death with stone in Odisha’s Balangir

Balangir: In a shocking incident, a person allegedly crushed his wife to death with a stone at Tikarpada village under Saintala tehsil of Odisha’s Balangir district this morning.

Police have arrested the accused husband and seized the body.

According to reports, a heated exchange of words took place between Srinivas Sahoo and his wife Jayashree over some issues.

It later took an ugly turn as Srinivas, losing his cool, attacked her with a stone and crushed her head in a fit of rage resulting in her death on the spot.

On being informed, police reached the spot, arrested him and seized the body for post-mortem. Investigation into the matter is underway.
