Man found dead in Odisha’s Bhadrak; eye gouged out, ear chopped off

Bhadrak: A man was allegedly murdered at Gochipur village in Basudevpur area of Odisha’s Bhadrak district last night with an eye of the person being gouged out and an ear chopped off.

According to reports, lifeless body of Ganesh Satpathy (48) of the village was found lying in a pool of blood inside his house this morning. The eye and the ear were missing in the body.

On being informed by villagers, police reached the spot, recovered the body and started investigation. The reason behind the alleged killing is yet to be ascertained.

Worth mentioning, wife and children of the deceased have gone on pilgrimage outside Odisha.
