Man found dead on roadside in Odisha’s Khordha

Khordha: Body of a man was found on roadside at Chhanagiri village under Jankia police limits in Odisha’s Khordha district today.

The deceased has been identified as Sheikh Suleman of the village. Though the reason behind his death was yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that he was murdered over past enmity and the body was later dumped on roadside.

Police have recovered the body for post-mortem and started an investigation. Two persons have been detained by police for questioning in this connection.

Several criminal cases were pending against Sheikh Suleman, reports said.
