Man gifts wife Taj Mahal-like house; images go viral

Indore/Bhubaneswar: In order to express love to their significant others, people often adopt different tricks. While some gift chocolates and flowers to their beloved ones, others either take their lover to overseas trips. But this man from Madhya Pradesh took his gift for spouse to another level.

The man, Anand Prakash Chouksey, who is an educationist by profession and hails from Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh built a Taj Mahal-look alike house and gifted it to his wife.

Anand Prakash constructed the unique house with four-bedroom for his wife Manjusha Chouksey. The house was built in a period of three years. It is spread across 90 square meters with minarets. The dome is 29 feet high and consists of two bedrooms on two floors. Also, the building has a kitchen, library and meditation room, reports NDTV.

Prior to implementing the idea for construction of the unique house, the couple went to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal and studied its architecture closely.

The engineer who built the house reportedly faced many challenges during the construction of this unique house so that accuracy and beauty of the original monument could be maintained. The house floor has been made from ‘Makrana’ of Rajasthan.
