Man held for killing wife in Odisha

Rourkela, May 23: 

Gurundia police of Odisha’s Sundargarh district today arrested a youth and forwarded him to the court for killing his wife yesterday.

bloody_knife_murder crimeSources said the accused, Bideshi  Kishan (28) of Kuleibaga village under  Gurundia  police station came to his house at 2 PM in an inebriated condition and had a quarrel with his wife Fulatori. Enraged, he attacked her with an axe and killed her on the spot.

Following a complaint by Madhusudan  Kishan, brother of the deceased, on the next day, a team of Gurundia Police led by IIC Bikash Swain went  to the  house  of  Bideshi  and arrested him.

Police seized the axe from his house and took the body of the deceased for post mortem.

The accused was forwarded to court in the afternoon.
