Man shoots father with arrow over family dispute in Odisha, arrested

In a shocking incident, a person shot his father with an arrow over a family dispute at Bhalugada village under Jharadihi police outpost in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district today.

According to reports, Ramadu Baske had gone for fishing to nearby pond against the wish of his son Ramrai.
An exchange of words ensued between the two over the incident which later turned ugly as Ramrai shoot his father with an arrow.
Ramadu sustained critical injuries and was admitted to the district headquarters hospital in Baripada.
Police have arrested Ramrai and interrogation is on.
