Man stabs father to death in Odisha’s Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: Family feud turned fatal as a person allegedly stabbed his father to death over an exchange of words between the two at RR Colony in Brundamal area of Odisha’s Jharsuguda district.

According to reports, a dispute was prevailing between Bisikeshan Rohidas and his son Bhagaban. A quarrel ensued between them last night which took an ugly turn as Bhagaban lost his cool and attacked his father with a knife.

The sharp weapon pierced into Bisikeshan’s chest following which he sustained grievious injuries. He was admitted to a nearby hospital where doctor declared him dead.

Registering a case into the incident, police have arrested the accused son. Investigation into the matter is underway.
