Man stoned to death by nephew in Odisha; accused held

Baripada: In a shocking incident, a man was killed by his nephew over family dispute at Nachhipur village under Kaptipada police limits in Mayurbhanj district today.

The deceased has been identified as Surasen Das.

Sources said 22-year-old Bisikesan Manik had a verbal duel with his uncle over family dispute. In a fit of rage, Bisikesan attacked the latter and went on hitting his head with a stone. Surasen died on the spot.

Acting on a complaint, police detained the accused for interrogation and began an inquiry into the incident.
