Manipur Governor Najma Heptulla visits Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Manipur Governor Najma Heptulla visited Odisha for a conference scheduled here today.

She will meet Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and will have lunch together at Naveen Niwas.

Accompanied with her daughter, Najma arrived at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in the morning.

“Odisha is a beautiful place and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik is one of my best friends. I have a long relationship with Patnaik since his father’s days and when he was a minister at the Centre. This time I am here on a two-day trip to visit Chilika with my daughter,” she told media.

“I came to Odisha today to attend a conference following which we will visit Chilika,” she added.
