Bisra/Rourkela, Mar 25:

Security personnel on Monday busted a Maoist camp at Nuagaon and Rehladu areas along the Odisha-Jharkhand border.

Reports said the Jharkhand police and the CRPF personnel launched a combing operation in the border area following information about a Maoist camp being run by top Maoist leader Anmol Hembram inside a forest in Deogarh district.

During the operation, the security personnel came across a Maoist camp inside the forest area located between Nuagan and Rehladu.

However, by the time the forces reached the spot, the Maoists who had reportedly got advance information on the police operation had managed to flee the area with their weapons.

All that the security personnel were able to seize were a carton of medicines and edible items from the camp.
