Maoists abduct another villager in Odisha

Malkangiri, Oct 21:

Days after Maoists killed and abducted a local; they have further unleashed their terror by kidnapping another hapless person from Malkangiri district of Odisha, Tuesday evening.

The abducted person has been identified as one Vima , a resident of Dandipadar Village under Mathili police station in Malkangiri district. According to sources, Vima had been kidnapped on suspicion of being a police informer.

Recently, around 15-20 armed rebels had stormed into the village and took away the duo– Sina Madhi and Dambaru Sagadia–from their houses on gun point.

One of the two, Sina Madhi later managed to escape from the clutches of the Maoists.

While, body of Dambaru Sagadia with throat slit was found near the Kansariputa Chhak, two days ago.

More than 28 persons have been abducted by the red rebels in the last two months in the district on suspicion of being police informers.
