Maoists kill villager by slitting throat in Odisha’s Malkangiri

Malkangiri: In yet another barbaric act by the Maoists, a person of Orapadar village in the cut-off areas of Chitrakonda in Odisha’s Malkangiri district was killed by the red rebels last night.

According to reports, around 20 Maoists barged into the house of the person and kidnapped him. The extremists later killed him by slitting his throat on the outskirts of the village.

The identity of the deceased was yet to be established till last reports came in. Worth mentioning, the Maoists had allegedly abducted a person of the same village on Sunday.
