Maoists torch 3 excavators in Odisha’s Koraput; leave poster

Koraput: Continuing their violent acts, Maoists set three earth excavators on fire at Darliput village under Lamtaput block of Odisha’s Koraput district late last night.

The three machines were completely damaged in the fire, sources said.

Before fleeing the spot, the red rebels left a poster on the behalf of Srikakulam-Koraput division of the Maoists protesting illegal lifting of sand from a quarry on Darliput river.

They have also warned sand mafias of dire consequences in the poster.
