Maoists torch crane, tractors opposing PMGSY road in Odisha’s Koraput

Jeypore, May 5:

Opposing construction of road under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Maoists torched a crane and two tractors engaged in the construction work at Talagumandi village under Narayanpatna block in Koraput district of Odisha late last night.

According to reports, around 40-50 Maoists set the vehicles on fire.

The red rebels left a poster of Koraput-Srikakulam Divisional Committee of the Maoists before fleeing the spot.
