Married couple found hanging inside house in Bhadrak

Bhadrak: A married couple was found hanging inside their house at Suan village under Basudevpur police limits here in the district.

The deceased duo identified as Ranjan Malick and Gitarani Malick had tied the knot six months ago.

Although, the exact reason behind taking such extreme step is yet to be clear. It is suspected that the couple committed suicide over family feud.

Police recovered the bodies and sent for post-mortem.

The investigation has been launched to ascertain the reason behind the incident.

According to reports, Ranjan, son of Bhasali Malick of Suan village, had love marriage with Gitanjali from Balasore district six months ago.

Family sources said that the couple was happy with each other.

However, the duo was found hanging with a saree inside their bedroom over unknown reason.

Reports said that when Ranjan’s mother knocked the door in the morning and the couple did not open it, she approached her neighbourers about it. They later broke the door and found the couple hanging in the room.

After getting information from the family, the police reached the spot and recovered the bodies.
