Married woman chops off youth’s genital in Odisha

Keonjhar: In a bizarre incident, a married woman allegedly chopped off a youth’s genital in Harichandanpur area of Odisha’s Keonjhar district last night.

The victim, identified as Rajendra Nayak of Jharabeda village in Ghatagaon area here, sustained critical injuries and was initially admitted to Harichandanpur hospital. He was later shifted to the district headquarters hospital as his condition worsened.

According to the victim, he was working in Chennai and returned yesterday evening. He decided to stay at the woman’s house in Harichandanpur during the night and proceed towards his village next morning.

The woman, whom the youth claims to be his friend, allegedly forced him to consume liquor during his stay at her house. After he became unconscious, she cut off his private part, Nayak alleged.

“We used to talk over mobile phone. I had earlier reprimanded her for talking to others over phone and asked her to have conversation with me only. She might have committed the act due to this matter,” the victim said.
