Max 200 examiners will be allowed at each evaluation centre: BSE

Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha today said a maximum of 200 examiners will be allowed at each evaluation centre while following social distance norm. In a letter to the District Education Officers, the BSE Secretary stated the evaluation of answer books of annual HSC, SOSC and Madhyama Examination, 2O2O at all the evaluation centers will be taken up from May 21. The evaluation will be carried out in subjects SLE, MTH, SSG and SSH.

The centres where it is not possible to accommodate 200 examiners, the Centre Supervisors can utilise an extension centre nearby to accommodate more number of examiners, not exceeding 200, the letter mentioned.

The examiners residing within 10 km distance from the centre will be allowed for evaluation duty.

The letter further said the examiners who had joined for evaluation work on March 18 and 19, 2020 and who have been given fresh appointment will do the evaluation work only if they are coming from/ within 10 km distance from the centre.

Six evaluation centres have been shifted to other institutions in Keonjhar/ Malkangiri/ Rayagada/ Jagatsinghpur/ Sundargarh & Mayurbhanj districts.
