MCL built community hall for leprosy patients inaugurated

As part of its CSR initiative, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has built a multi-purpose community hall for the leprosy patients at Lakshmidungri on the outskirts of Sambalpur town.

The community hall, built at a cost of Rs 8.45 lakh, was inaugurated by Anju Sahay, First Lady of MCL and president Jagriti Mahila Mandal on Saturday.

Among others, Mahila Mandal vice-presidents Anita Tiwari and Gitanjali Panigrahi, secretary Shashi Jain and treasurer Sangeeta Thapliyal and officials of MCL’s CSR department were present on the occasion.

The leprosy home inmates thanked MCL for extending help which they said would go a long way in improving their plight.
