Medal winners of Odisha Karate team felicitated

Bhubaneswar, June 4:

The Utkal Karate School felicitated the winners of the Odisha karate team who won four silver and five bronze medals in the National Junior, Sub Junior and Cadet Karate Championship that concluded at Talkatora Indoor stadium in New Delhi on June 1.

On behalf of the Utkal Karate School, Gouri Mohanty, Er Chittaranjan Swain, Gourashyam Mohapatra, Dipak Samantara, Santosh Maharana, Dilip Jena, Anupama Swain, Mir Azmad Ali, Debashis Acharya and Himanshu Sekhar Das felicitated the winners—Payal Boral, Agnivesh Moharana, Sagarika Patra, Bonali Das, Basudev Pradhan, Smruti Ranjan Palo, Souvik Mandal and Debabrat Yadav— and others team members who missed the medal by a whisker.

Besides, coach Rajiv Kumar Singh and Mahesh Chandra Boral, manager Avinash Pundir and Suresh Chandra Jal were also felicitated.
