A major fire in a pharmacy store in the Odisha capital turned medicine worth lakhs to ashes early morning today.
The fire broke out at Om Pharmacy medicine store situated at Acharya Vihar Square here on 6:00 AM, according to reports.
Two fire engines were pressed into service to control the fire, according to sources. The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, there are allegations that unidentified miscreants have set the shop on fire irked by a failed robbery attempt. Three other shops shutters have been broken the locals have alleged.
