Met department issues yellow weather warning for these Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre today issued yellow warning for several districts of Odisha for the next five days. It forecast dense fog is likely to occur at one or two places over the different districts during these days.

As per a release issued by the meteorological centre, one or two places over Angul, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Kendrapara , Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Puri, Nayagarh, Ganjam,  Kandhamal and Sundergarh districts will experience dense fog till 8.30 am tomorrow.

Similarly, dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Khordha, Puri , Bhadrak, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Koraput, Sundergarh and Keonjhargarh from 8.30 am on 19.01.2020 till 8.30 am on 20.01.2020.

The centre further said dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bolangir, Kalahandi, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal and Koraput from 0830 am of 20.01.2020 till 0830 hrs of 21.01.2020.

Dense fog at few places with very dense fog at one or two places is very likely to occur over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Koraput, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Puri, Jajpur, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Kandhamal and Sundergarh from 0830 am of 21.01.2020 till 0830 am of 22.01.2020, the release added.

Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Angul, Dhenkanal and Kandhamal. This apart, thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhargarh, Mayurbhanj from 0830 hrs on 22.01.2020 up to 0830 am on 23.01.2020, the release said.

The centre also predicted that minimum temperature in Bhubaneswar will be around 18 degree Celsius in next 24 hours.
