Met predicts thunder squall in several districts of Odisha

The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre today predicted thunder squall over several districts of Odisha.

“Latest doppler weather radar and satellite imageries indicate that thunder squall accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar and adjoining districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj and Balasore from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm today,” a release of the meteorological centre said.

Weather is most likely to be dry over interior Odisha, it forecasted.
